NRG Riverside is one of the UK’s largest specialist fleet management companies, offering short- and long-term truck rental, contract hire and fleet repair and maintenance services. Operating for over 25 years, our service is supported nationally by an experienced team, each committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers every day.
Our spot rental fleet comprises of refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) both trade and domestic (split and trade bin lifts), food waste vehicles, cage tippers, gulley tankers, sweepers, skip and hook loaders, all less than 5 years old and fitted with the latest safety technology, compliant with the FORS and CLOCS directives. Our contract hire fleet also contains bespoke tractors, vehicle access mounted platforms, walking floor trailers, crash cushions, vans, fridges, flatbeds and minibuses.
Contract hire vehicles and solutions are tailor-made. Customers define their monthly budget and length of term before designing their bespoke vehicles. Our helpful technical team can recommend suitable vehicle configurations based on desired application of vehicles. All contracts are supported with maintenance packages to ensure the optimum performance of vehicles operating in a demanding industry.
Our History
In 1996, Riverside Truck Rental (RTR) was formed and Sid Sadique took ownership in 2006. By 2019, after several acquisitions in addition to steady organic growth, the company now headquarters from Skelmersdale Lancashire with a further ten workshop depots across the UK including Manchester, Calne, Colchester and Bellshill. NRG Riverside also boasts an extensive national network of third party suppliers and support infrastructure.
In 2020, Palatine Private Equity acquired a majority shareholding in our operating company, NRG Fleet Services. Shortly thereafter, in an effort to acknowledge the many facets of what the business can offer, RTR rebranded and the trading name of NRG Riverside was born.
Today, NRG Riverside operates in excess of 2,500 vehicles and employs 226 people across the UK under the new leadership of our Chief Executive Officer, Darren Powell. With a growth trajectory that is driven by continued investment in not just new fleet, but also its people, NRG Riverside continues to outperform its competitors and provides exceptional service to its customers.
