Lesley Crighton is Hire Desk Controller at the Bellshill Rental Desk. She has been employed by Riverside Truck Rental as a Hire Desk controller. Lesley adores her job and loves going the extra mile for RTR’s customers in Scotland.
‘NRG’s Bellshill depot in North Lanarkshire is a true one-stop-shop for our Scottish customers. We have a specialist 17-bay workshop facility. Our rental department receives fantastic support from our highly skilled workshop for servicing and mechanical repairs. The workshop also carries out engineering for hoist and hydraulic repairs and modifications. At the same time, our body shop carries out work on all commercial vehicle accident damage repairs,’ she comments.
Lesley explains that the Bellshill depot genuinely stands out from its competitors. ‘We have a dedicated, highly-qualified and customer-focused team. The staff has extensive industry knowledge and will go the extra mile every time to provide a first-class service to all.
‘RTR has a massive range of specialist vehicles, including waste and recycling collection vehicles, cage tippers, gulley tankers, tractor units and temperature-controlled vehicles.’
Lesley really enjoys her role at RTR. ‘I love the diversity, from taking the booking to delivering the vehicle and everything else in between. I also enjoy building relationships with new and existing customers. I enjoy finding solutions to their logistical problems, making sure they come to us first every time. My hope for the Bellshill depot and the team for 2021 is to grow our customer base and fleet in Scotland and continue to provide a first-class service which is second to none.’
