Remembrance Day
Today, we come together to reflect and remember all who have served and all who continue to serve. We stand together to reflect on the sacrifices made and honour the lives lost in service.
Remembrance day honours those who serve to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.
Remembrance does not glorify war and its symbol, the red poppy, is a sign of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; ages shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
