Supporting Leeds City Council’s Shoe Box Appeal
This year, we are proud to have supported the Leeds City Council Shoebox Appeal, a fantastic initiative that aims to bring some festive cheer to local school children in need.
The appeal encourages people to donate small gifts- whether toys, books, or stationery, which are then wrapped in shoeboxes and distributed to children across Leeds.
We were delighted to get involved, and our team worked together to contribute to the cause, knowing how much these small acts of kindness can make a big difference. It’s a rewarding feeling to know that our contributions will help brighten the holiday season for children who may not otherwise receive a gift this year.
Jenny Cook, Chief People Officer said, “Supporting our local communities is a key part of our ESG charter, and we continue to look at ways to get involved further. This is the 1st year we have been operating in the Leeds area, so it was great to be able to support the Leeds shoe box appeal as our 1st initiative and we look forward to getting more involved in the Leeds community in upcoming months/years.”
We are thrilled to be part of such a meaningful project and want to thank Leeds City Council for leading the way in supporting families and children throughout the community. It’s a true reminder of the power of community and how, together, we can make the season a little brighter for those who need it most.
